APGFCU Hires Monica Worrell as Business Development Director

APG Federal Credit Union (APGFCU) recently hired Monica Worrell, as director of business development for Harford County.

Worrell joins APGFCU with 30 years of experience in both the public and private sector, most recently as marketing director and patient relations manager for Advanced Eye Care and Aesthetics, preceded by her position as public information officer and chief spokesperson for the Harford County Sheriff’s Office. Her strong ties to the community will help APGFCU continue to grow its presence among the organizations and people of Harford County.
 

A graduate of the Harford Leadership Academy, Worrell has served in several leadership roles on local boards and civic organizations, including her most recent position as councilwoman for Havre de Grace City Council, from which she recently resigned.

“I’m really excited to join APGFCU and the credit union movement,” states Worrell. “I’ve been a member of the credit union for many years and I am proud to share the benefits of being a member of APGFCU and the credit union philosophy of ‘people helping people’ with the communities of Harford County.”

Worrell succeeds Claudia Holman, who will retire this November after 20 years of service with APGFCU. “We are delighted to have Monica join the APGFCU team. She brings a deep understanding of Harford County and a passion and enthusiasm for the individuals, families and businesses in our communities,” said Vice President of Marketing Lillian Kilroy.”
