Harford County Honored by National Association of Counties for Using the Arts to Raise Awareness About Addiction




Harford County Executive Barry Glassman, left, and Joe Ryan, manager of Harford County Office of Drug Control Policy, accepting an achievement award from the National Association of Counties (NACo) for Harford County’s efforts to raise awareness about opioid addiction through the arts. NACo receives hundreds of award applications each year; Harford County earned the 2018 Best in Category Award in the Arts, Cultural, and Historic Preservation category for innovative, effective county government programs.
