Teen Activist Works to Save the Earth

Kelsey Juliana is proof that you’re never too young or too busy to save the planet. Since the tender age of 15, when most of her peers were busy with soccer practice and reading the Hunger Games, Kelsey has been delving into legal briefs as a co-plaintiff for Oregon TRUST (a nonprofit fighting climate change for future generations), which is suing the state of Oregon “to take a more aggressive stance against the carbon emissions warming the earth and destroying the environment.” In 2014, the then 18-year-old environmentalist activist walked across America to bring awareness to global warming. In this interview, Kelsey’s wisdom shines through, as she pleads to those of us inhabiting the earth, and those inheriting it – to take action and not stand idle.
