Thompson Automotive held its annual Breakfast with Santa event on Saturday December 3rd. This year’s attendance was the highest ever, with more than 200 participants.

Each year for several weeks before the event, Thompson collects unwrapped toys and donations to benefit the Harford County Sheriff’s Foundation Christmas Drive. At the event, the gathered toys and donations were presented to the Foundation, as well as a $5000 donation from Thompson Automotive.

The dealership associates played a big part in the event’s success. Beyond the huge volunteer effort involved in planning and orchestrating the event, the associates’ donations alone allowed for the purchase of 43 bicycles for the charity.

This year there was also a special addition, with Thompson also donating $5000 to the Joppa-Magnolia Volunteer Fire Company.

“Our first responders sacrifice so much every day, we feel honored to be able to give something back,” says Dealer Partner Fred Anderson. “Both the Sheriff’s Department and our Volunteer Fire Companies deserve recognition for all they do for this community.”
