Building a stronger community doesn’t happen by accident. It takes the work of dedicated organizations, like SARC, and the selfless volunteers who support them.

SARC is honored to count Palumbo Insurance Associates as a supporter in its mission — and we are proud to announce that our friends there have earned a 2016 Safeco Insurance Make More Happen Award for their efforts.

In addition to this recognition, the award includes a $4,000 donation from Safeco to SARC to support their work in the community. And with your help, SARC can win $1,000 more!

During the week of August 22-28, Palumbo Insurance Associates and SARC will be featured in a story on Safeco’s website at www.Safeco.com/make-more-happen.

If 50 different individuals “cheer” for SARC on the site by leaving a comment while the story is up, SARC will earn an additional donation from Safeco.

Please take just a few minutes to read the story (we’ll post a reminder when it goes live) and leave a comment. It’s an easy way to make a big difference for others in Harford County.

SARC wants to thank Palumbo Insurance Associates again for supporting our efforts to end domestic violence, sexual violence, child abuse and stalking, to aid its victims, and to create a society free from abuse and fear. SARC is immensely grateful to Safeco as well for not only this donation, but for creating a program that encourages involvement.

Together, we can build a stronger, more vibrant community for all.
