Sunshine’s Angels is a nonprofit fund raising organization created by Vicki Bull after her own daughter, a mother of three children under the age of 5, was killed in an auto accident.
Proceeds from past races have gone to three area organizations working with children suffering grief or trauma, such as the loss of a parent or other family member. They are:
- Olivia’s House, a grief and loss center for children, in York,
- PEACE (Partnering with Equine to Assist in Counseling Experience) which operates at several horse farms in Southern Pennsylvania.
- Roberta’s House, a Baltimore-based group that operates grief camps for inner city children.
