- Coral Kingdoms and Empires of Ice kicks off new series
at Harford Community College

The National Geographic Live Speaker Series kicks off with Coral Kingdoms and Empires of Ice on Thursday, October 29, at 7:30 p.m. in the Amoss Center at Harford Community College, 401 Thomas Run Road in Bel Air.
The evening features underwater photographer David Doubilet, who has spent nearly half his life in the sea and photographed more than 70 stories for National Geographic magazine, and aquatic biologist and photojournalist Jennifer Hayes, his wife and underwater partner, who will share their travels to various bodies of water around the world that are now under threat due to global climate change and overfishing.
A reception with the speakers takes place in Darlington Hall from 6:15 to 7 p.m.
Tickets to the reception and premier seating at the lecture are $40 per person. Premier seating is $30 per person; orchestra seating, $20; terrace, $15; and Harford Community College students and youth aged 17 and under, $10.
