Maryland State Superintendent Lillian M. Lowery will spotlight the success of one of the State’s top schools on Thursday, May 21, as her annual Blue Ribbon Tour of Excellence makes a stop at Fountain Green Elementary School in Bel Air.
Fountain Green Elementary is one of six Maryland Blue Ribbon Schools selected earlier this year. The school has an impressive record of student achievement; a very active and supportive Parent Teacher Association and school community; and offers a variety of enrichment programs for students, such as the Lego Club, the computer club and the art clubs. Fountain Green teachers pride themselves on using best practices, innovative instruction, and multiple forms of technology in each class.
