Harford Mutual Insurance, Bel Air, MD is pleased to announce the Board of Directors’ approval of Karen Mashinski, CPA, CPCU, who joins the company as Vice President and Chief Financial Officer. Mashinski will assume a strategic role in the overall management of the company and will have primary day-to-day responsibility for planning, implementing, managing, and controlling all financial-related activities of the company.
Mashinski is a graduate of Pennsylvania State University with a bachelor’s degree in accounting and holds Certified Public Account (CPA) and Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU) designations. She serves as a board member for Members Federal Credit Union of Mechancisburg, PA.
Mashinski previously served as Chief Financial Officer with Millers Mutual Group of Harrisburg, PA and held various corporate positions during her 19-year tenure with that company. Prior to Millers Mutual Group, she held positions at Ernst & young and PHICO Insurance Company of Mechanicsburg, PA.
