(Aberdeen, MD) – Did you receive a gift card this holiday season that you don’t expect to use? Don’t let it go to waste. Donate your unused or unwanted gift cards to the Boys & Girls Clubs of Harford County. “The gift cards make supporting the Club easy,” says Tim Wills, Chief Kid Officer (and Executive Director). “We use the cards as incentives for our teens for making honor roll. We purchase supplies like kitchen utensils and makeup samples for our Smart Girls and Healthy Habits programs. Or, we’ll buy a coat or shoes for a child in need.”

Like most charitable donations, giving a gift card to the Boys & Girls Clubs is tax-deductible but always be sure to consult your tax advisor for your particular situation.

Donated gift cards can be dropped off at any Club location:

About Boys & Girls Clubs of Harford County:

Celebrating its 25th Anniversary, the Boys & Girls Clubs of Harford County was established in 1989 by a group of concerned citizens in the Aberdeen area.  The organization now operates clubs in Aberdeen, Bel Air, Edgewood, Havre de Grace and Windsor Valley, as well as summer programs at Camp Hidden Valley and the Aberdeen Swim Club. Our mission is to inspire and enable all youth, especially those who need us most, to realize their full potential as productive, responsible and caring citizens. The Club is open to all youth ages 6 to 18 and provides positive youth development programs in five core areas: Character and Leadership Development; Health & Life Skills; Education & Career Development; the Arts; and Sports, Fitness and Recreation.
