SARC Seeks Donations for 17th Annual Bull and Oyster Roast

[Bel Air, MD] January 7, 2015— SARC, Harford County’s resource center for victims of sexual assault and spouse abuse, will host its 17th Annual Bull and Oyster Roast on March 14th, 2015. Tickets are $55 each or $500 for a table of 10 and can be purchased online at www.sarc-maryland.org. The organization is actively seeking business and personal sponsorships for the event as well as silent auction item donations.

One of Harford County’s most popular fundraisers, SARC’s Bull and Oyster Roast doubles as a St. Patrick’s Day celebration, and typically boasts a sell-out crowd. Each year attendees look forward to a fun evening filled with food, drinks, dancing, prizes and the opportunity to bid on an array of silent auction items.

Sponsors of the Bull and Oyster Roast can market their businesses at this well-attended event for an affordable investment, all while supporting a very timely and topical cause. Sponsorship levels include Oyster Sponsors ($1,000), Bull Sponsors ($500) or Friend Sponsors ($250), and each level offers different benefits including tickets to the event, recognition in all pre-event publicity and on the organization’s website, ads in the program and prominent placement on promotional signage.

SARC’s Bull and Oyster Roast, a combination fundraiser and St. Patrick’s Day celebration, always garners a great community turnout.

SARC Development Director Kathy Casey says, “The support of the business community is essential to the success not only of this event, but also to SARC’s important work overall.” She explains, “Donations of goods and services to the silent auction, as well as general sponsorships, offset the cost of catering and entertainment so we can devote most of the funds raised to assisting Harford County’s most vulnerable residents when they really need our helping hand.”
