Best-selling author Lisa Scottoline discusses her new book, “Keep Quiet,” in Abingdon

Belcamp Md., May 9, 2014  —  Harford County Public Library Foundation hosts its annual “A Night Out @ the Library” featuring New York Times-bestselling author Lisa Scottoline on Thursday, May 29, at 7 p.m. at the Abingdon Library, 2510 Tollgate Road in Abingdon.

Tickets cost $55 per person and include a copy of “Keep Quiet,” Scottoline’s book that came out in April. VIP tickets cost $75 per person and include a reception with the author at 6 p.m. and a copy of the book. To order tickets, call 410-273-5600 or visit hcplonline.org.

Funds raised by “A Night Out @ the Library” will be used toward the Havre de Grace Library building project.

Scottoline is the author of 22 novels. More than 30 million copies of her books are in print and have been published in 35-plus countries

Scottoline’s books have landed on best-seller lists at The New York Times, USA Today, The Wall Street Journal, Publisher’s Weekly, Washington Post and The Los Angeles Times.  “Look Again” was named by The Washington Post asOne of the Best Novels of the Year” in addition to being named one of the best books in the world as part of World Book Night 2013.

Scottoline’s writing has been recognized by organizations throughout the country. She is the recipient of the Edgar Award, the Mystery Writers of America’s most prestigious honor, and the Fun, Fearless, Fiction Award presented by Cosmopolitan Magazine. In addition, Scottoline has been named a PW Innovator by Publisher’s Weekly.
