“The People’s Republic of Orange Awareness,” (a Multiple Sclerosis (MS) Awareness group) along with the youth of Lord of Life Lutheran Church (directly across from Edgewood High School, Edgewood Maryland) will host a “Spring Fling,” on Saturday 17 May 2014 from 10 am to 2 pm. The event will feature a “Free-cycle” flea market (meaning no charge to take anything, and you may bring items to the church to be “free-cycled”). All items will be accepted for this event. In the past we have had everything to offer from clothes to Christmas trees. A community drop off time will be 15 May 2014 between 3pm and 7pm at the church. There will also be a plant-swap. Please bring cuttings of your plants to share and take home plant cuttings from others.

“The People’s Republic of Orange Awareness,” will actively be sharing MS information and raising awareness. They will have many special items that day to give away. Plus it will be the official kick off of “Paint Maryland Orange 2015!” “Paint Maryland Orange 2015,” is going to be an ongoing campaign to turn various landmarks in Maryland orange for National MS Awareness Month and Week 2015.

There will be lunch items for sale. Please stop by and find out what is happening in the World of MS, see the pictures from the events that “The People’s Republic of Orange Awareness,” attend and help us get ready for Chesapeake Challenge: Bike MS!
