A little girl in Harford County is doing the work of the Easter Bunny this week, getting ready to spread some holiday cheer amid her two-year battle with cancer.
Grace Callwood, 9, has been creating baskets filled with the things she hopes will make children in need smile.
“So they can have all the candy that we put in there,” Grace told 11 News.
The Harford County third-grader will be delivering boxes this Easter to area homeless, sick and foster children. It’s her latest project as the founder of the charity organization We Cancerve. It’s spelled that way because she’s been battling stage four non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma for two years ago.
