Registration is now open for Harford County’s Youth and Family Resource Festival featuring public and private resources for youth of all abilities from birth to young adults. Developed by the Harford County Department of Community Services’ Local Management Board and Office of Disability Services, this free, family-friendly event will be held from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, April 13 at APGFCU Arena on the campus of Harford Community College, 401 Thomas Run Road in Bel Air.

Festival attendees will have the opportunity to meet with more than 80 exhibitors and representatives from public and private establishments.  Vendors, agencies, nonprofit organizations, and support groups will provide information on services such as summer camps, tutoring, behavioral health, fingerprinting, preschool programs, athletic programs, financial assistance, and housing support.  Youth entertainment in the “Kid Zone” will include a Touch-a-Truck experience, crafts, character meet and greet, and a photo booth.  Door prizes from local businesses will be awarded throughout the day. Launched in 2017, this is the second Harford County festival under the administration of County Executive Barry Glassman.

“The positive feedback was overwhelming from nearly 1,000 attendees at our inaugural Youth & Family Resource Festival,” County Executive Glassman said. “I encourage all Harford County families to register today for this year’s event where they will have fun and connect with a vast array of resources in one convenient location.”

Pre-registration for the festival is strongly encouraged and is available online at
