New York Times-bestselling author will discuss his newly released book, “The Occupied”
Harford County Bar Foundation will hold “An Evening of Cocktails & Conversation” with New York Times-bestselling author Craig Parshall on Thursday, November 10, from 5 to 6:30 p.m. at One Eleven Main, 111 Main Street in Bel Air.
Sponsored by Tyndale House Publishers, the event features an opportunity for guests to meet author Parshall and to hear about his newly released book, “The Occupied.”
Parshall, an attorney in Washington, D.C., has authored or co-authored 11 suspense novels. He is a Washington, D.C., insider and serves as special counsel to the American Center for Law and Justice.
“The Occupied” is about New York criminal defense attorney Trevor Black, who has the ability to perceive the invisible. He returns to his hometown after the murder of one of his friends and finds the MO similar to a trail of murders that have crossed his path. He looks for the killer and faces his own demons, including supernatural ones.
Copies of “The Occupied” will be available for purchase and signing at the event.
Tickets cost $50 per person and include heavy hors d’oeuvres, two wine/beer beverages, a non-alcoholic specialty drink and a Tyndale book (“The Third Target,” a J.B. Collins novel by Joel C. Rosenberg). Sponsorship of the event is also available for $250 and includes two tickets, recognition at the event, on the Bar Foundation website and on social media.
Proceeds from the event will support low-income individuals seeking legal representation in Harford County. Harford County Bar Foundation relies on fundraising events to fill the gap between operating grant funding and actual operating costs.
The Harford County Bar Foundation was established in 1991 to increase pro bono services and to provide educational resources to low-income individuals in need of legal assistance in family law, housing, bankruptcy, consumer, foreclosure, and estates and trust.
