[Bel Air, MD] September 11, 2014— The Maryland Spine Institute & Wellness Center announces that Dr. Rochelin Herold, DC, MS, BS, CEAS, is the new owner and primary physician at the full service chiropractic, physical therapy and natural health facility. To introduce the community to Dr. Herold, the staff and the expanded services of the practice, there will be an Open House at the office on Thursday, October 23, from 5:00-7:00pm.
With Dr. Herold as the owner of Maryland Spine Institute and Wellness Center, patients can expect more than just a name change. They can look for a wider variety of treatment options, acceptance of new insurance programs, a more efficient billing system and better administration. The facility is also one of the few spinal care centers to offer on-site X-rays.
Dr. Herold believes that comprehensive spinal care is an essential and vital component to total health. He says his multi-discipline approach to treatment, which includes chiropractic adjustment, physical therapy and massage, is the key to helping patients achieve their health goals, adding “The human body has an innate ability to heal itself and I believe in doing whatever is most effective for both preventive care and treatment of long-term medical issues.”
During the Open House, guests can expect to see demonstrations of spinal stretches, receive posture and balance checks, enjoy free massages and learn about preventing sports injuries and how to protect and treat trigger points. There will also be refreshments and drawings for two complimentary massage therapy sessions.
The Maryland Spine Institute & Wellness Center is located at 730 Baltimore Pike in Bel Air, MD. Regular office hours are Monday-Thursday 7:00am-Noon and 2:00-6:00pm.

About Dr Herold:
A native of Brooklyn, NY, Dr. Herold first discovered his passion for health sciences at a specialized high school for prospective health professionals. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Exercise Physiology and a Master of Science in Community Health Education at West Virginia University (WVU). He was awarded a Doctorate of Chiropractic (DC) from Life University College of Chiropractic in Marietta, Georgia. His pre-professional experience includes interning at New York Methodist Hospital in Brooklyn, NY; administering outpatient aquatic therapies at Health South Rehabilitation Hospital in Morgantown, WV; and serving as a health and fitness specialist for Pfizer Pharmaceuticals in New York City. Before taking on his new role as owner, Dr. Herold practiced at the Maryland Spine Institute for three years and was the Clinical Director. He was also a supervising chiropractor at several offices throughout Baltimore and Washington D.C. He currently lives in Bel Air with his wife Joyce, youngest sister Jerosha, son Caleb, and their spoiled mutt, Graci Blu.
