BEL AIR, Md. (Sept. 17, 2014)—Harford County-based chef Timothy Weinhold today announced the launch of Timothy Weinhold | Private Chef, a personal chef venture that provides a private culinary experience to those seeking elevated, fine dining dishes in the comfort of their own home.

Using a mix of modern and classical cooking techniques, while embracing current culinary trends, Weinhold constructs fine dining and elevated comfort food dishes for any occasion, from private dinner parties, weekly family meals and small catering events, to holiday dinners, graduations, anniversaries and birthday celebrations. Included in the dining experience, Weinhold offers dinner hosts a one-on-one consultation to determine menu development, course selection and meal preferences. While hosts are responsible for providing the kitchen, Weinhold handles the rest, from fresh ingredient acquisition and food preparation, to equipment, service and clean-up.

“I developed a passion for cooking at a very young age. For my fifth birthday I was given a chef’s hat and wore it every Sunday morning while cooking scrambled eggs and biscuits for my family. I was pretty much born with a spatula in my hand,” said Weinhold, owner and executive chef of Timothy Weinhold | Private Chef. “With this venture, it is my personal mission to provide customers with a truly unique and memorable fine dining experience from start to finish.”

Weinhold attended Stratford University in Baltimore where he studied culinary arts and hospitality management. According to Weinhold, it was during this time he advanced his passion for food expression and service. Prior to launching Timothy Weinhold | Private Chef, Weinhold served as a line cook under the direction of Chef Frederick Daniel at the Baltimore Country Club, and cooked at Forest Hill-based Seafood Festival for four years.
